It was a pleasure to create this video for the Saratoga Regional YMCA, which tells a few stories about meaningful connections that have been forged through the SRYMCA. It was played at the Impact Celebration event and also distributed through organic social media. Thank you to the interviewees for sharing your stories!
Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) was named to Albany Business Review’s list of the best places to work for 2022, and the bank reached out to have a video produced that could be shown during the recognition ceremony. All of the bank’s staff that were interviewed were a pleasure to film and I can understand why the bank was given the honors of being named one of the Capital Region’s best places to work. Congratulations to BSNB and I wish you many more years of being a top place to work!
Here’s a video that was produced for Honeycomb Credit to help showcase Chow Bella, a Saratoga Springs based business that offers an assortment of dog-related services, and at the time of writing this post, the area’s first and only indoor dog park. It was a great to film Chow Bella’s facility and the dogs that were present during my time there. From my experience filming at the facility, I’d definitely recommend dog owners in the area check out Chow Bella!
Here’s a video that was produced for the Saratoga Regional YMCA. In the video, the current CEO, Scott Clark, discusses the steps the Y took during the pandemic, what it’s up to at this current time, and its outlook for the future. It was great to work with the Y again and I wish them continued success in their mission of helping others!
Here’s a promotional video created for Discover Saratoga’s 2022 Chowderfest. This year’s Chowderfest features both the weeklong tour that was implemented last year, as well as the traditional day-long Chowderfest format from prior years. One could say that this video was a long time in the making, as the footage was shot during the 2020 Chowderfest event in February, just a few weeks prior to the lockdown. It’s promising that since that time, things have started to look a bit more normal again and the time honored tradition of Chowderfest is back in Saratoga.
The pandemic has certainly changed many things in the world, with the business industry being no exception, as many of us know. Here’s a virtual tour video produced for the Holiday Inn of Saratoga Springs, which gives people the opportunity to learn more about what the hotel offers without having to physically visit the location. The video provides viewers with information regarding the hotel’s conference, wedding, and general guest stay services. It was particularly special to produce the video for this venue, because of my past ties to it. It’s where Skidmore’s time honored MB107 (Management and Business 107) presentations take place, which I participated in during my first semester. It was also the go-to hotel for my parents when they visited me during my college and post-college years, with the hotel’s dog-friendly accommodations definitely playing a role in making that decision. From my experiences with them from the past and for this most recent project, I whole-heartedly recommend that people looking for a hotel in the Saratoga Springs area to look into the Holiday Inn!
Awhile back I had created a promotional video for the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau ( Discover Saratoga) that showcased the benefits of being a member of the organization,, and was called on again to help produce a refreshed version. This video consists of testimonials given by current members of Discover Saratoga and the benefits they’ve seen by being a part of the organization. My business has been a member for quite a few years now and can testify for the great features and benefits that were discussed in the video. I send well wishes to organizations in the convention and tourism industries during this current time where the pandemic has changed the landscape of their businesses, and would certainly recommend that they consider joining Discover Saratoga if they aren’t already members, to help them navigate through this current situation and help them flourish for many years to come.
It was great to get back to filming for Opera Saratoga for the 2021 summer season. Featured in this post is a video showing behind the scenes footage for the preparation of the Man of La Mancha show as well as interviews with people involved in the show. Man of La Mancha was performed at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) and this video was projected onto the in-house video screens at the venue before each performance. Just like previous seasons, I enjoyed getting to witness some top quality performances and gaining more breadth in the performing arts.
Here’s a video Junda Video Enterprises created for the Saratoga Center for the Family. I actually didn’t know much about the non-profit organization prior to being contacted by them, and was thoroughly impressed by them after learning about the work they do for people within and around the community. The organization was founded over 40 years ago, has a child advocacy center, offers child abuse prevention / education programs, and also provides mental health services. Saratoga Center for the Family wanted to have a video put together of some of their clients sharing their experiences working with the organization, so the video could be played at the Power of Hope virtual fundraising event they were hosting during the pandemic. The video is also currently featured on their website: https://saratogacff.org. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to film and put the video together for the organization and hear some of the stories of a few of the clients they’ve been working with. The clients I filmed had a wide range of personalities and life experiences, though a commonality was their gratitude to the organization for the help they’ve received. I’d like to thank the Saratoga Center for the Family for choosing me to produce the video and would also like to thank the participants of the video: Sheri, Robin, Felicity, Aaliyah, and Alana. Here’s an updated promo video that was completed for the non-profit organization, Grassland Bird Trust, which conserves grasslands for wildlife and also educates people about the importance of grasslands. What made the creation of this video particularly special was going to Washington County during the winter months to get footage of short-eared owls, which are classified as an endangered species in New York State, with an estimated population of less than 100. Some days I went to record footage there weren’t any birds out in the open fields, while other days it was full of life. I was fortunate to have been out in the field to film footage on a couple days where there were quite a bit of short-eared owls hunting in the open fields, and it was a thrill to get footage of them in action. It was also nice just being outdoors in nature during the midst of the pandemic. I wish Grassland Bird Trust continued success with educating people about the many species that call grasslands their home and with the organization’s efforts to conserve grasslands throughout the nation.
